When I arrived at my place in Rome last week, one of the first things my host told me was that I was free to be totally nude in the apartment because “he was used to it.”
Oh, you don’t know her? She’s a cousin of Airbnb that caters to LGBTQ+ travelers (though, from appearances, mostly gay men). When I was looking for accommodations in the eternal city, I searched misterb&b (filtering for places that were clothing optional) and chose a sunny apartment near the gay neighborhood.
When I arrive, Matteo shows me my beautifully appointed room before heading back into his home office. I leave to spend a few hours exploring Rome for the first time in 17 years. When I’m full up on ancient ruins and pretty churches, I ride a Lime e-bike past the Colosseum and back to Matteo’s apartment. While he remains in his room, still working I guess, I take a shower and then prance naked back across the hallway.
Still nude, I grab my laptop and Kindle and plop down in his gorgeous living room, reclining on the couch across from his flawlessly-curated, floor-to-ceiling bookshelves (ladder and all). After I finish checking email, I stay there reading for a bit, remaining hopeful as I hear Matteo hop into the shower himself.

He comes into the living room wearing only a towel, and asks if I want a glass of wine, which obviously I do. He returns with the glasses but sans towel, and we both relax into the couch, chatting for a bit like this is totally normal, a host and his guest lounging in the nude.
I tell Matteo he’s cute, and gently touch his leg. Immediately, his dick starts to get hard. I grab it and start stroking. Soon we are horizontal, all hands and kisses. I silently lament that we didn’t start before he smoked because the taste, while not awful, isn’t exactly a turn-on.
Nonetheless, I am still very turned on.
